Co-Curricular Activities Debates and Declamations Inter-Collegiate participation: 1997 Presided in All Pakistan Inter Collegiate parliamentary style debates Also helped in co-ordinating the event. 1994 Presided in All Pakistan Inter School Poetry competition. Intra-Collegiate participation: 1997-98 Captain of Jubilee House parliamentary style debating team. Participated in various inter house debating competitions. Also helped my juniors in preparing for such events. Editorial work and Designing 1997-98 Member, editorial board of The Year Book. Laid out the design, made pin-ups and conducted various surveys amongst students. Also responsible for the write-ups of my batch mates in the magazine. 1998 Helped in designing the cover of the Aitchisonian Scientific Chemistry section. Teaching experience 1998 Voluntary teaching at S.O.S village, Lahore during the summers. Taught elementary courses for 8 weeks. 1997-98 Have been voluntary teaching O-Levels students inside and outside the college since Sept 97?. Extra-curricular activities Sports Inter-Collegiate level participation 1998 Member College athletics team. Committed to daily 1 hour practice. 1998-97 Member College Football (soccer) team. Participate in daily 2 hour college team practice and other club matches held in Lahore. 1998-97 Member College Hockey team. Daily 1 hour practice. Intra-Collegiate level participation 1998-97 Awarded the House Badge for excellence in sports for two consecutive years. NB: House Badge in sports is the highest award in sports in a house and is given to the top five percentile sportsmen of the house in a particular year. Miscellaneous activities Others. 1998 Senior College prefect, Jubilee House. Responsible for choosing house teams and guiding the boys in such activities. NB: A College Prefect is next in authority to the Head Boy in Aitchison College. Only five boys are chosen as college prefects every year. 1998 Vice President, Aitchison College Chess Association. 1997-98 Member of College Chess team. 1998 Did internship at "Trazed Associates" during the summers. Worked for 8 hours daily for 6 weeks. Helped in organising and maintaining vital data of the firm. Social work 1998 Voluntary teaching at S.O.S village, Lahore during the summers for 8 weeks. 1998 Member Bunyad Literacy Program. Taught and collected various books for this program. 1998 Participated in "Blood Donation Camp" held in Aitchison College and helped in co-ordinating the collection of blood. 1998-95 Member of Lahore Greenwish Society. Took part in various fund raising and awareness campaigns. NB: S.O.S village is a N.G.O working for the orphaned and abandoned children of Lahore.Greenwish Society is working for the environmental protection of Lahore.Bunyad Literacy Program is responsible for educating poor children in Lahore.
